Dear reader,

With 2022 coming to a close, it gives me great pleasure to share with you the fourth, and final edition of our Insight Quarterly in 2022. This edition highlights, among others, our supply chain waste research report - The Missing Billions, exciting launches like L’Oréal’s cashierless pop-up store using advanced self-checkout technology enabled by RFID, and a heads up on the key events we will be attending in Q1 of next year. Despite the continuing global challenges, the past year has brought us some big achievements, new opportunities, and extended partnerships. I’d like to express my gratitude to you, for your partnership, trust, loyalty and patience throughout this past year and I look forward to our continued collaboration in 2023!

The launch of our supply chain waste report ‘The Missing Billions’
This quarter we launched our supply chain waste research report titled ‘The Missing Billions’. This report has surprising and important findings, concluding that the global supply chain discards $163 billion worth of inventory each year due to expiry or overproduction. It provides customers crucial data on the impacts of waste. In parallel, it also provides the insights needed to understand how digital ID technologies offer a solution to some of the biggest challenges they are faced with today. You will find media coverage and views on the report in our sections below. In the meantime, please make sure you get a copy of the report for your insights. 

Opportunities to meet and connect
We are gearing up for a busy period of upcoming key events and we look forward to meeting with you and connecting in person. NRF 2023: Retail Big Show will take place from 15 to 17 January. We look forward to welcome you at our booth #5721. We are also collaborating with Hedera during the World Economic Forum in Davos from 16 to 20 January, showcasing how we are building trust and transparency, powered by atma.io.  To close out Q1 we will also be attending Euroshop from 26 February to 2 March.
