Welcome to our second edition of the Insight Quarterly in 2024. At Avery Dennison, we are continuing to evolve to leverage our expertise and lead at the intersection of the physical and digital. By further deepening our segment focus, we are able to better understand client challenges and provide enhanced solutions that will increase value for our clients in the industries we serve.
In this edition, we are shining a light on the value created through implementing Avery Dennison's full suite of RFID solutions across the supply chain. By assigning every item with a unique digital identity it’s possible to optimize supply chain efficiency, unlock visibility and enable transparency and traceability from source to consumer.
Leading at the intersection of the physical and digital
Traceability and transparency are challenges facing multiple industries today. You may recall from our Missing Billions report published in 2022 that $163 billion worth of inventory is wasted due to overproduction or expiry. As a pioneering business at the forefront of transformative change, Avery Dennison is part of a new documentary series called "Innovators & Disruptors,” which has launched on CBSNews. This series showcases how, by connecting the physical and digital, Avery Dennison solves some of the industry’s biggest challenges, including the reduction of waste across the apparel and food industry. I highly recommend the watch.
Sustainability is integral to our Business
Sustainability is a core value of Avery Dennison and guides our operations, business practices, and partnerships. In this edition, you'll discover more about the expansion of our AD Pure™ range, a portfolio of RFID inlays and tags that are entirely PET plastic-free.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Insights Quarterly. As always, if you have any feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here.
Sincerely,
Raymond van den Berg
