MENTOR, Ohio — January 12, 2024 — Avery Dennison has today announced the launch of the AD 2Metal Rock M781 tag, designed specially for harsh conditions typically found in the automotive and logistics industries.
The first on-metal tag within the Impinj M700 IC Series, the AD 2Metal Rock M781 has a thin, soft and flexible structure. It is ideally suitable for curved (convex and concave) surfaces in industrial warehouse settings, allowing the tagging of Returnable Transport Items (RTIs) such as metal crates and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) boxes.
Tag benefits:
- Global performing on-metal tag that is optimal for metal, liquid and hard-to-tag items
- Thin, soft and flexible - suitable for curved and flat surfaces
- Long read range of up to 5 meters
- Printable and encodable with RFID printers suited for on-metal tags
- Aggressive adhesive ensures suitability for demanding applications and harsh environments
The AD 2Metal Rock M781 tag is delivered in label format as single rows on a reel. A clean gap between the tags makes it user-friendly and suitable for automated applicators, minimizing waste at the point of use.
