AD Minidose inlays and tags are designed for the unique identification of a wide range of smaller products. Specifically, Minidose provides excellent performance when tagging the smaller-sized items used in pharmaceutical and healthcare applications, including syringes, plastic and glass vials, and many varied packaging formats.
These inlays and tags, equipped with NXP’s UCODE® 8/9 IC and a small form factor antenna (22 x 12mm), are a globally available design with excellent broadband performance in the 860-930 MHz frequency range. They provide high read reliability and enhanced performance, even when small tagged items are densely packed in close proximity.
Minidose is approved for use in healthcare applications by Auburn University’s RFID Lab. It is the first and smallest inlay in the market which complies with ARC Category S for pharmaceutical applications. The product is available with the NXP UCODE 8/9 chip, which is compatible with the global GS1 UHF Gen2v2 standard, standardized by ISO/IEC as 18000-63.
Avery Dennison Smartrac’s inlays and tags are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management, which ensure a reliable and state-of-the-art product that meets a variety of application needs.
