Avery Dennison Smartrac’s Maxdura® Brick has been designed with a rugged construction for high durability on metallic surfaces. It offers excellent read range performance up to seven meters. Its compact size makes it suitable for IT asset tracking such as backup tapes, servers, network routers, hard drives and media tapes without any human intervention. Moreover, it fits applications for inventory control, track and trace of small tools and manufacturing equipment.

This RFID (UHF) hard tag, member of Avery Dennison Smartrac’s Maxdura product family is a passive, battery-less transponder equipped with Alien Higgs-3 IC, including 512-bit user memory.

It offers a flexible read/write range depending on the reader. Maxdura Brick housing is made of TPU, fulfilling ingress protection IP68. Other plastic materials and colors are available upon request. It can be easily fixed with adhesive backing and a hanging thread through a tiny hole for easy mounting. Maxdura Brick is also available for non-metallic applications.

Due to its excellent read range, compact size and high resistance, it is very well suited to tap the benefits of passive RFID in different industrial applications.
